8:00 AM – Departure from Marrakech:

Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from your riad or hotel in Marrakech. Enjoy a scenic drive through the charming village of Asni and the heart of the High Atlas Mountains to Imlil (1740m), the starting point of your trek.

Arrival in Imlil:

Upon arrival, meet your expert local guide and trekking team, including a cook and mule handlers who will assist with carrying your luggage. After introductions and a traditional Moroccan tea break, you’ll prepare for the hike.

Start of the Trek (9:30–10:00 AM):

Begin your ascent with stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Along the trail, visit the Chamharouch Shrine, a spiritual landmark, where you’ll pause for lunch. Afterward, continue trekking to the Toubkal Refuge, situated at 3207m altitude.

This day’s hike takes approximately 5–6 hours, offering ample time to enjoy and photograph the magnificent scenery.

Overnight at Toubkal Refuge:

Settle in for the evening with a warm meal and rest, preparing for the next day’s climb to the summit.
