Upon arrival in Merzouga, ride camels for about an hour to reach a desert camp nestled among the vast Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy the stunning sunset over the golden sands, an unforgettable moment as the desert sky transforms in color. Return to the camp, where you’ll be greeted with a traditional dinner, accompanied by local music, and spend the evening beneath the starry skies, immersing yourself in the serene beauty of the Sahara. Your first destination will be the impressive Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its well-preserved kasbahs and picturesque adobe architecture. After exploring Aït Ben Haddou, you’ll ascend the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, which stands at an elevation of 2,260 meters (7,415 feet). This winding mountain pass offers breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains, dotted with traditional Berber villages and terraced fields. The drive through Tizi N’Tichka is an experience in itself, with panoramic vistas and opportunities for stunning photographs.
