Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Marrakech Airport, your driver/guide will greet you and transfer you to your riad or hotel in the heart of the city. Take time to settle in and relax. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the local area or enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner. Overnight in Marrakech.

After breakfast, meet your local guide for an immersive tour of Marrakech’s historic Medina. Wander through its vibrant souks and explore iconic landmarks such as Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, and Madrassa Ben Yusuf. Experience the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, filled with street performers, storytellers, and food stalls. Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Depart from Marrakech and drive through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO-listed fortress known for its role in famous films. Continue to Ouarzazate, where you may visit the Atlas Film Studios. Pass through Skoura and the Rose Valley before arriving in Dades Valley, where you will spend the night.

After breakfast, journey through the breathtaking Dades and Todra Gorges, known for their towering cliffs and picturesque landscapes. Travel to Erfoud, famous for its fossils, before reaching Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. Embark on a camel trek across the dunes to your luxury desert camp. Enjoy a magical sunset, a traditional dinner, and a night under the stars in a comfortable Berber-style tent.

Wake up early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4×4 to Merzouga, then visit Rissani, a historic desert town with a lively traditional market. Travel through the picturesque Draa Valley, dotted with palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Continue to Ouarzazate, where you will spend the night.

Before leaving Ouarzazate, visit the Atlas Film Studios or explore the historic Taourirt Kasbah. Drive back to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying scenic stops along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to explore, shop, or unwind in a traditional hammam. Overnight stay in Marrakech

Depending on your flight time, you may have some leisure time for last-minute shopping or a relaxing mint tea at a local café. Your driver will transfer you to Marrakech Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Moroccan adventure. Safe travels!
